Observance of National Education Day on 11 Nov 2019

National Education Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 11th of November, Monday by APS Jodhpur. It was celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, the first education minister of independent India, who served from 15 August 1947 until 2 February 1958. He advocated free and compulsory education for children up to the age of 14 years.

As a part of the celebration, various competitions were organised for students of VI to X which included Essay writing competition, Card making and Slogan writing competition on ‘Role of Education’ .Students actively participated in the competition. Slogans were very well written signifying the importance of Education.
